About Me

Screen Shot 2020-12-18 at 9.26.10 AM I’m a writer and editor living in Brooklyn, N.Y.  I’m currently a Health Writer at HealthiNation for GoodRx. Over the past eight years, I’ve grown from assistant editor to copy editor at S&P Global, and then copywriter to senior copywriter for WW’s in-house global brand content team. I’ve freelance blogged along the way, allowing me to explore the city and immerse myself in the arts scene.

I am also in an accessible all-levels choir called Here to Sing, a volunteer with PAWS NY, and poll worker, and in my free time, I love to paint, dance, see Broadway musicals, live concerts, and comedy shows, and do yoga.

I’m a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism, with a Spanish minor that I completed during a semester abroad in Madrid. I chose to take courses in magazine editing, visual storytelling in photojournalism, D.C. theater, the history of the American musical, visual culture and communication, journalists as storytellers, journalism and peace, professional writing for the arts, and feature writing to earn the magazine designation on my diploma. I am passionate about wellness and mental health, inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility, and social justice, public policy reform, comedy, and live performance.

My very first editing gig—a prodigy at 7 years old! 😉
